The aim of education

What is the aim of education?

  • To be prepared for the future.
  • To expand awareness.
  • To learn from the past.
  • To instil resilience to persevere.
  • To think for oneself.
  • To understand oneself and become that which you want to be, need to be and can be.

And finally, education is a life long journey. If you stop learning, you stop living.

  1. Education is a tool to discover oneself and ones interests in life. Education also instills in us vast knowlege of things that make us give direction to our interests. It will be appropriate if every education system first helps one discover oneself and set educated goals in life with a sence of right and wrong. Then it needs to provide the knowledge and skills to achieve it.
